Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz
Mrs. Andreia Prata e Queiroz is the Area Procurement Manager at Esso Angola. She has worked for ExxonMobil since 2006 in Angola and the USA. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mrs. Prata e Queiroz is an alumni of the American International School of Johannesburg.
Mr. David Love
Mr. David Love, is the Finance & Planning Manager for ALNG – OPCO located in Luanda. David began as Treasurer of the Board in August 2018. He holds two degrees in petroleum engineering, a BS from the University of Alabama and an MS from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MBA in Finance/Strategy from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. During his 20+ year professional career, David has worked in the US, Angola, Ghana, China, and Nigeria. David and his wife have one child here at LIS and two sons in college in the US.
Mr. Clay Young
Mr. Clay Young works for Schlumberger as the Account Manager for ExxonMobil, Chevron, and BP. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Clay has held diverse scientific and managerial roles at Baker Exlog, Weatherly Laboratories, Core Laboratories, and DBR Inc. Clay joined Schlumberger in 2000 managing the Reservoir Fluids Sampling and Analysis business in North America. For the past seven years, he has managed well construction projects for various clients in Papua New Guinea, Australia, South Africa, and Mozambique.
Mr. Mike Williams
Mr. Mike Williams is the Business Development Manager at Halliburton. Mr. Williams has worked for Halliburton since 2002, in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Southeast Asia, Kazakhstan, and, presently, Angola. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Southdowns College.
Mrs. Tania Coelho
Mrs. Tania Coelho is an Ethics & Compliance Specialist for BP Angola. She has worked for BP since 2005, holding various advisory and leadership positions in Human Resources. In 2017, she moved to BP’s Ethics and Compliance Team. Tania has a degree accredited by Oxford Brooks in Human Resources and Business Management from Damelin in South Africa.
Ms. Karen Gilbride
Ms. Karen Gilbride is a Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Luanda, Angola. Ms. Gilbride began her U.S. State Department career in 2003 and has worked on Africa democracy and human rights issues throughout her tenure. Prior to joining the State Department, Ms. Gilbride worked as a Case Manager for a Virginia non-profit focused on refugee and asylee resettlement. She also spent several years teaching English in Russia. Ms. Gilbride holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the College of William and Mary.
